about me
a brief bio…
After quitting my job in 2019 and wondering whether I was having a mid-life crisis, I decided to pursue my mid-lifelong dream of becoming a writer. Sure, people still ask me if I am a housewife (writing is a job!) but now I get to spend my days doing what I love best - and to me, there is nothing better than that.
I graduated with a Degree in English and Creative Writing in 2013, and since then I have worked as a CV Writer, a Data Entry Clerk, a Temp, an Admin Assistant, a Course Administrator, and a Marketing Communications Coordinator. Now, I get to put my skills as an agitated perfectionist into writing and my slight obsession with thinking outside the box within a box that I can call my profession.
I have a great love for words, and I like to be creative - all good writing, whether it’s a 500-word blog post or a 2,000-word article, requires a fresh angle and a memorable voice, which is something that I like to bring to all my work.
I love writing short stories in my spare time, and when I’m not working you can find me attempting to write a novel (and also doing other more normal things).
